Chia seed is an amazing source of omega-3 fatty acids, rich in antioxidants, and they provide fibre, iron, and calcium. So many uses from being added to smoothies, into baked goods, chia puddings and provide a vegan alternative to eggs by making a chia gel.
Chia gel is made by combining 1 tblsp chia seeds with 3 tblsp water. Let this sit for 10/15 mins until a gel has formed and replace this for 1 egg in your cooking.
