French Toast Granola Bar – makes a quick easy breakfast or snack bar!
Everyone is always on the lookout for quick healthy solutions for either breakfast on the run, or a snack to keep you going during the afternoon. Full of good protein, carbohydrates and refined sugar free, this recipe would be a winner. Even better this recipe is easy to throw together and cooks very quickly with very little mess or fuss. 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗲 for 10 bars
* 1/2 cup (125ml) rolled oats
* 1/2 cup (125ml) quinoa flakes (or more rolled oats)
* 1/2 cup (125ml) almonds
* 1/2 cup (125ml) pecans
* 1/2 cup (125ml) almond meal
* 2 tbsp sunflower seeds
* 1 tsp cinnamon
* 1/2 tsp nutmeg
* 6 tbsp agave syrup
* 2 tbsp coconut oil
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F).
Line a 20x20cm (8×8 inch) baking pan with parchment paper. Combine very well all ingredients in a large bowl.
Transfer the mixture in the prepared pan and press down firmly. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Let it cool slightly before slicing.
Store in a airtight container and enjoy during the week!
