We’re always on the lookout for healthy snack ideas, and this one makes my mouth water…..

It’s all pretty simple and easy to make and we’ve linked all the ingredients to get you cooking!

* 1 cup pecans, roasted
* 1/2 cup almonds, roasted
* 1/2 cup hazelnuts, roasted
* 1 cup rolled oats
* 1 cup dried apples, chopped
* 1/2 cup almond meal
* 1/2 cup shredded coconut
* 1 tbsp cinnamon
* 1/4 tsp allspice
* Pinch of fine pink salt
* 1/4 cup coconut oil, melted (due back into stock this month)
* 1/4 cup almond butter (coming soon)
* 1/3 cup maple syrup
* 1 tsp vanilla extract
Place the nuts in a food processor and pulse several times to โ€œchopโ€ them into a crumbly texture, but donโ€™t over mix. Transfer the nuts to a large mixing bowl and stir in other dry ingredients. In another bowl, combine wet ingredients and stir. Pour wet ingredients into the dry and mix throughly. Transfer mixture to a parchment lined 20cm (8×8 inch) square pan and press down, using your hands to get it packed tightly into the pan. Cover the top with plastic wrap and set in the fridge overnight to firm. Using a long very sharp knife, cut into 16 bars and store in the fridge. Enjoy!
